ENTER: Vinylux 1-Week Nail Polish.
Guys, I swear by this stuff. Let's talk about it. It dries in LESS than 8 minutes. I'm not talking just any kind of dry...I'm talking hard as a rock dry. Go to bed and not have sheet marks imprinted on your freshly painted nails, dry.
Vinylux is made by the same company that makes Gel and Shellac, so you know its quality. And even though it says it lasts a week, I have had it last longer than that! Not only that, but it uses natural UV lighting (sun, inside light, etc..) to harden the polish over time. Good-bye, skin cancer-causing lamps that harden your polish...hello natural lighting! This is a game changer.
Pros:
- The brush is a thick yet flat brush, for easy application. Think OPI brush, but not as rounded....more flat.
- The polish dries and hardens with natural light and even gets harder over time.
- Dry time, 8 minutes or less. Swear.
- Long-lasting. Lasts way over a week.
- AFFORDABLE! I buy mine through Amazon.com and typically pay $4-6 dollars a bottle. Long lasting!
- Not using those awful skin-cancer boxes to dry/harden your nails.
Cons:
- Having to wait for the polish to arrive in the mail. Vinylux is not available in retail stores and can rarely be found in a salon. But when you DO find it in a salon, it's so marked up that you don't even want it! Amazon it, people!
- Not being able to see what the color will look like besides looking on a screen.
- The design of the bottle is nothing special. I like simple, classy and unique. The logo and bottle design are quite bland.
Well, my little tigers, time to paint those nails! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and scored awesome deals on Black Friday. I sure didn't! I blame Dave Ramsey.
Bye!
